Energy Use and Emissions
At Datapac, we are committed to reducing our energy consumption and emissions through a variety of initiatives. We have implemented numerous energy-saving devices, including energy-efficient lighting, power-saving functions on office equipment, and photocopiers with duplex capabilities. We actively monitor our energy and water consumption to identify opportunities for further savings. All office lighting has been upgraded to environmentally friendly LED lights, which are both more economical and provide a more comfortable working environment for team members. Additionally, we have introduced fully electric cars as options within the corporate fleet.
Transport
Datapac has a fleet optimisation system in place that monitors fleet movement and minimises the amount of travel for deliveries and service delivery of multiple vehicles in the same location. This, along with changes to our general fleet management policies, is designed to reduce environmental impact during deliveries.
